What affects the price

Simple and honest. Here's the whole story.

Fargo–Moorhead weddings start at $1,500 for your reception, all in. Only a few things change the total, and we quote every one of them plainly before you book:

  • Reception DJ & MC: from $1,500. Everything to run your night: grand entrance, the dances, announcements, planning calls and a custom timeline, a sound system sized to your room, and backup gear.
  • Ceremony sound: optional add-on. Microphones and music for the ceremony itself. It adds time to the day, so it's a bit more. It's also the only thing we ever add on.
  • Travel: the metro is included. Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo, and Dilworth are no extra charge. Surrounding-area venues are a little more for travel, shown right in your quote.
  • Longer events. An unusually long reception can affect the total. We'll tell you exactly how before you decide.

That's the entire list. No tiered packages designed to upsell you, no "premium" props, no fine print.

Why one honest price

Why $1,500, and exactly what it covers.

At $1,500 you get an experienced DJ who also MCs your whole night, start to finish. Not a last-minute fill-in pulled from a big roster, and not a checklist of add-ons built to pad the invoice. It's one fair, upfront price, set on purpose so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Midnight Express has been a family business since 1980. When you book us, you know exactly who's showing up, and that they've done this hundreds of times. That experience (reading the room, keeping the floor full, and handling the microphone so you don't have to) is the whole product. One fair, flat price for exactly that. No surprises, no upsells.

FAQ

Wedding DJ pricing questions

How much does a Fargo wedding DJ cost?

Our Fargo wedding DJ and MC services start at $1,500 for the whole night, with surrounding areas slightly more for travel.

Why one price instead of packages with add-ons?

Because the experience is the product. You get an experienced DJ and MC at one fair price for your reception. The only optional add-on is ceremony sound, since it takes more of the day. No upsells, no "premium" tiers, no prop fees.

What can change the price?

Adding ceremony sound, distance from Fargo, or a longer event can affect the total. We tell you exactly how before you book, so nothing is added as a surprise.

Is a deposit required to hold our date?

Yes. You sign online and pay a $100 deposit to lock your date. The balance is due closer to the wedding.

Are there hidden travel fees?

No. Any travel for surrounding-area weddings is quoted plainly up front and shown in your quote, never hidden in fine print.
